Joe Godsey visits Florence Speedway for North-South 100

After losing Thursday’s preliminary event to wet weather, Joe timed in 16th-fastest in his group on Friday before placing sixth in his heat. Starting his $5,000-to-win preliminary feature in 16th, Godsey dropped one spot in the 25-lapper to finish 17th.

On Saturday evening, Godsey came in sixth in his heat, relegating him into a B-Main for one final shot at the $75,000-to-win North-South 100. Needing to place second or better, Joe logged an eighth-place outing.
