Godsey attends XR Superior Showcase at Gondik Law Speedway

Roth Motorsports pilot Joe Godsey trekked to Gondik Law Speedway (Superior, Wis.) on Monday afternoon to compete with the XR Super Series for the two-day XR Superior Showcase.

In a field of 40 cars, Godsey followed up the 13th-fastest time in his group with an eighth-place finish in his heat. Needing to place third or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Joe fell short with a seventh-place outing.

For another $20,000-to-win A-Main on Tuesday, Joe’s fifth-place finish in his heat relegated him into a B-Main for another shot at the finale. Locking in the top-three, Godsey missed a transfer spot by two cars with a fifth-place finish.
